Compare an event, not a channel count
Pick three events you regularly watch and identify their authorized US viewing options. For each one, distinguish a full live game from highlights, replay access or whip-around coverage. These are not interchangeable even if the service's marketing mentions the league.
Use official league and broadcaster listings as your starting point. Our NFL viewing guide, NBA schedule guide and UFC guide cover different viewing decisions. Do not assume an old channel arrangement is still current.
A live-event trial scorecard

Latency is different from buffering
A stream can play smoothly while remaining behind the venue or another broadcast. If phone alerts spoil scores, adjust those alerts rather than repeatedly reconnecting a stable stream. Different feeds and devices may have different delays. We do not publish a universal latency or “zero buffering” guarantee.
When a game fails
- Confirm the event has started and that you selected the right feed.
- Try a second channel without changing account details.
- Compare another supported device, one stream at a time.
- Record the channel, local time, app and error for support.
- Use the event's authorized alternative if the issue cannot be resolved.
If only one event fails, reinstalling every app is unlikely to be the first useful step. If every channel fails on one TV but works on another, investigate that TV's network and player. If the account is inactive, resolve billing before changing playback settings.
Before paying for a season
Check regional availability, supported devices, simultaneous streams, renewal costs and cancellation terms. A provider should distinguish what it can demonstrate from what it merely advertises.
